Julie Zender (left) and Marcia Becker (right) established Westwind Architecture as a partnership in 1996.  They are both architects licensed in the state of Colorado and have a combined 30 years experience in residential architecture.

Julie graduated from Stanford University and then earned a Masters of Architecture at Princeton University.   She is married with one son, Colin.  Her hobbies include bicycling, hiking, and reading.

Marcia worked as a geophysicist before returning to school for a Masters of Architecture at the University of Colorado at Denver.  She was awarded the AIA Gold Medal upon graduation.  Marcia is married with two daughters, Christine and Ellie.  She spends her free time with her family at horse shows.
